Since discovering a passion for gems, Giacomo travels through the Africans and South Americans mining areas for some years, visiting emerald, rubies and sapphire mines.

After traveling back to Italy in 1996, he decides with his swedish wife Eva Maria to open the goldsmith and gems ”La Rana D’oro” in Sestri Levante on the Ligurian Riviera. The union between mediterranean creativity and swedish sobriety leads to the creation, year after year, of unique jewelry with gems with unusual/special shape and cuts.

Before the summer season 2014 comes the idea to stand in cosmetics with a perfume that reminds of the aromas of Cinque Terre: ”Fragranza- Le5Terre”, with scent of lemon and bergamot..

The latest news comes in spring 2015, with the realization of ”L’acqua- Le 5Terre”, a lighter perfume
